Can a lightsaber hurt superman?

First thought, I would say no. Coz superman's only weekness is criptainit (not spelled right) and Louis.

But I'm thought earthly things here. Now the lightsaber is a spacely thing so it could hurt him. In the end its how you classify it.

Superman can get hurt by a lightsaber because the lightsaber is made of plasma and superman was indeed hurt by a plasma comet in the cartoon (or comic) One more thing, magic can kill superman.

how can syclops (the guy from x men)  when he looks at some thing the beem disctroy everything in its path while when he closes his eyes. His eye lids don't get fried?

Because according to evolution his body adapts to his ablities. Plus......it's a comic and movie.

Going back on what they said about the metel. If my memorie servers me right they said they it can cut through anything and is "verchly" (meaning it could brake) imosible to brake. Now going to what they said about the lightsaber. It is the most powerful wepon know to man/creatures *in star wars* So with all that in mind I think its best to say and to realy find out we will have to get a real lightsaber and real adimanteiom and see what happens.
