MailScanner is the Spam and Virus filtering tool running on your server.

It can be found at http://your.server.nz/mailscanner.

You will need to enter your assigned username and password.

To search the Mailscanner database for previous emails:

• Login to Mailscanner.
• Go to the Reports option.

• Add a filer such as the From address containing alerts@wiz or westpac.co.nz or what ever.

• Click on the add button on the right hand side of the screen

• Now choose a report to show around this filter.

This will not bring up a listing of emails that matches the filter you have created.
Generally the database hold around three months worth of email headers that you can search on.
This also contains all the spam emails as well, so the database gets large and needs to be kept at a reasonable size.

• When finished remove the filter.
